The homosexual community isn’t helping itself….

Andru V. a year agoGood point. I’ll be sure to bring this up in the next weekly gay community meeting. Because we totally have those, where we totally decide our agenda, and totally choose our list of appropriate slogans to put on signs. Oh no wait, none of that’s true and you’re an idiot. Also: the reason gay people have never had it this good is because people have fought for decades for the same basic rights everyone else enjoys.
If someone doesn’t like you, they don’t have the ability to remove your legal rights, so your comparison is misleading and irrelevant. Homosexuality has only been technically legal throughout the US since 2003 - there is still a long way to go before we share the same legal rights as other citizens throughout the US. Until then, I think people will carry on “making a big deal about it”.
