    Cowboys are Secretly Frequently Fond of Each Other: The Gay Cowboy song by Willie Nelson. This song was originally written by Ned Sublette in 1981 and covered by Willie in 2006. With Willie popping up on Buzzfeed in the LGBT section I just wanted to remind people that Willie has long been an advocate for LGBT rights and he deserves some recognition.

    Homosexuality is taboo in the country music industry, any music industry for that matter, so it's a big deal to record a song about gay men.

    If a few of the CCC(Country Closet Cases) actually came out(you know who you are) perhaps it would help in the gay rights movement.
