Paul Ryan Hits Obama For Defense Cuts But Praised The Bill Signing Them Into Law
Paul Ryan has blamed President Obama for “reckless, irresponsible defense cuts” that are a “result of President’s failed leadership” that were built into the Budget Control Act on Hannity last night. But Ryan himself voted for the bill that put the possibility of defense sequestration on the table calling it “bipartisan compromise” and “a good thing.” Since the deal bill was signed into bill, Ryan has joined the choir of Republicans wanting the Defense Department off the hook from the automatic cuts.
