Rick Santorum Makes Another Hitler Reference
Rick Santorum yesterday compared the danger posed by Barack Obama’s Administration to the “great peril” of the second World War, and warned of the time when Americans were complacent about “this guy over in Europe.” He’s gotten himself into trouble with Hitler references before, as in this 2005 floor speech, when he compared Senate Democrats to the Fuhrer.

sixfeetallman a year agoYa know, somebody needs to shut him up. I believe in Freedom of Speech as much as the next guy, but NOT when it’s so inflammatory and obviously untrue. It’s apparent he will stop at nothing to try and attract attention and votes.

But even if he was making a direct comparison, Obama prefers the tyranny of the state over the liberty and sovereignty of the individual. That is the exact same motivation that drove all the failed statist regimes that make up the ash-heap of history.
