This filibuster change was only regarding judicial nominations not as Reid supports now for legislative matters.  I wasn’t fully onboard with it when the Republicans tried to change this in’05. In regards to judicial nominees and other post nominees I believe that unless the person is not qualified or has some significant disqualifier the President should have his way, no matter who the President is. This was the way things were done until Biden, Kennedy and other Dems turned the Bork nomination into a circus. Then it just spiraled down.  I just wish there was enough maturity on both sides in politics and people in general to be able to disagree but still think the other person can be a good person. I just see too much on both sides where someone is terrible simply because their point of view is different.
