A search through the House of Representatives IP address on Wikipedia shows which pages have been edited by Congressional staff. The IP address, shared by all Congressional offices offers a glimpse at who decided to do a bit of historical airbrushing.

However, doing so often results in slanted text that does not follow Wikipedia’s neutrality or original research guidelines. A large majority (more than 80%) of the calls we receive are from people who are either not viable enough for a Wikipedia article or they want substantiated negative information removed. meganw8 10 months agoI wish this article had included a the representative’s political affiliation. I think it would be interesting to see what sort of editing trends appeared among the two parties.
And like other’s have said, there’s a pretty big difference between adding biographical information and removing unwanted information. -
