I remember sex ed in 5th grade. We were told that gay sex results in losing a third of one's life. Because I was an inquiring young mind, I was also assured that another instance of gay sex resulted in losing another third of one's life. This was L.A.U.S.D. circa 1996. Now that I've read, “How to Lie using statistics”, it all makes sense.
