In Portugal we have bolo-rei (brioche type ring with dry and crystalized fruit), sonhos (like churros, but round and fluffy), rabanadas (french toast, basically), coscorões (thin sheets of fried dough, covered in cinnamon sugar or cinnamon sugar and citrus sysrup), filhoses de abóbora…Â
I've seen two people actually stop mid-crosswalk to have a conversation. The cars weren't even honking because everyone was just staring at them in disbelief.
People who park on the street, blocking like three parking spaces, instead of just putting the car in one of those spaces, because they're "only going to be a minute" (they never are), and meanwhile people who need to park, can't, and people driving down that street have to manoeuvre…Â
