It’s moments like these that makes me wonder…

StazzyBoo a year agoThis is one of the reason I became an atheist. My mother who is devout Catholic, goes to church EVERY day, she belongs to 8 church groups including bible study, she constantly helps the poor and visits criminal in jail. By the way she appears it seems she is the holliest women you’ve met, she prays like no one else I ever met. But I can tell you she is the evilest, cruelest woman I have ever knows. If i had to tell you all the things you would be disgusted that she calls herself a Christian, she is the most judgmental person I have knowns, so close minded that she refused to meet my best friend because he was gay, because she think he chose it, he has known since he was little before he even knew what sex was…and he tried dating girls but it’s not what he is into. She opened my eyes to why I hate organized religion…people hurt people with it and they use it as excuse for how terrible they treat people. Find whatever connects you to what you believe in, for some people it’s religion, for other’s its meditating. I personally simply believe someone incredible created this world-even if everything began at evolution from one explosion, we all came from something, something inaprehensible for to ever understand, I hope that when we die there is something after this life, we’re all too beautiful and unique to just end here. I think one rule that all religions teach is love your neighbor as yourself. I honestly all my life treated people this way, never judged, I have tons of friends and acquintances and not a single one of them has something bad to say because I never gave them a reason to…it’s a harmonious part of my life that I am fortunate to have :) Find what suits your beliefs, I feel religion hinders us from truly loving one another, because you’re taught to think and recognize when people do things against your “religion”, it just set you up to judgement
