Ameeba 2 weeks agoThe heck? Not once did he attack gay marriage, nor has he ever, by the way. HE is the one who is being attacked, simply for a belief. He isn’t forcing that belief on anyone, nor is he speaking badly of anyone for their beliefs. You know who’s the worst? Anyone who calls Kirk Cameron the worst. THOSE are the people who are being mean and senseless jerks. Not Kirk. I guarantee that since he became a Christian, he has not ONCE done something that deserved all the negativity he’s gotten from unsaved people.

kat4283 2 weeks agoUm…defending “traditional” marriage is attacking gay marriage. And supporting the Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance is forcing his belief on others. And if you believe that you can only be happy with someone of the same sex, having someone tell you that you’re undermining what’s right and can never be happy, you’re going to be negative towards that person.

Richard Parker 10 months agoI believe in God, and I am sorry this is such a heated issue, but I will try to explain as best I can. Kirk’s message in this video is quite clear. We live in an unfortunate time when terms like “traditional marriage” are used in a manner that excludes lgbt people. The National Organization for Marriage is a hate group that actively opposes same-sex marriage, even going so far as to encourage boycotts of businesses who support lgbt people in any way. It is not what Mr. Cameron says directly, but his opinion is very clearly stated nevertheless. As for those who are choosing to use statements like “irrational God delusions,” they are doing more harm than good. I respect atheists, but I would hope for the same level of respect in return. After all, we are all entitled to our beliefs; it is when we try to force those beliefs on others that we become tyrants. That being said, I strongly believe that those who are opposed to same-sex marriage should not marry a person of the same sex.

edwardw5 10 months agoJust the fact that you think he is “saved” and others are not because they don’t share your cockamamie beliefs makes you and him smug fucking assholes. You’re entitled to your irrational God delusions, but don’t make out like you’re better than other people or have been chosen by some farcical magical deity in the clouds. People don’t hate Kirk Cameron because he’s condemning anyone. You’re right, he’s not really being a jerk about it. People hate Kirk Cameron because he is a brain washed, smug POS who believes without a doubt that he is right and others are wrong. The fact that he believes he is better than others simply because he’s surrendered his capacity for rational thought and open mindedness makes him an asshole of immense proportions and worthy of ridicule.
