    While I understand the point being made here I can’t help but think the two really don’t compare. Libya was a tragic thing but definitely not planned, the war in Iraq was a strategy launched by Bush under false pretenses of “weapons of mass destruction”. Many people didn’t and still don’t agree with that war and feel that young men and women died for nothing. Obama wasn’t apologizing to Libyan terrorists but apologizing for the thoughtless hate expressed in the “movie” that caused outrage. Sure, we could never apologize for anything but that’s why everyone hates our country because we act like pompous assholes. He wasn’t excusing their actions in any way. Romney seized upon an opportunity that came off very tacky but Obama was making a point about a needless war that he eventually ended.

      And upon even further research Obama didn’t issue the apology, the US embassy in Cairo did before the attacks even took place. So now somehow he sympathizes with terrorists and is a Muslim himself. Makes sense.
