It’s pretty well known that Tim Cook is gay. He won’t be on the cover of The Advocate any time soon, but he’s definitely no less out than Anderson Cooper. And while he’s not the CEO, it’s worth noting that Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes is not only gay, he’s openly gay married.

If she took home money for those competitions, she would not be eligible for the Olympics. The Olympics are only for amateur athletes, meaning athletes whose form of income is not derived straight from their athletic achievements. Olympic athletes try for sponsorships, of course, but those sponsorships are not officially based on the outcome of their matches. (Which is why Tiger Woods takes in a quadrillion dollars even when he has a shitty year.)
