(I usually just keep listing until I’m no longer sad) it works so well.
Make a list of all the little things you’re grateful for. I ALWAYS do this and it helps so much. Here’s how my lists usually go: sunshine, cats, warm baths, a house, my parents, my brother, sweaters, trees, blankets, vision, etc etc…
Tell someone how you’re feeling. Even if a stranger asks “how’s your day going”? Don’t say “fine” because maybe you don’t feel fine. Tell people how you feel. Don’t hide it or pretend it’s not there. Whenever I talk about my feelings, they end up not being as bad as I thought they were in my head. Getting things out in words can really help you realize that your life isn’t really as miserable as you’re making it out to be. Yes, it sucks, but it will pass. Remember that.
