I know, Ruff, and I should have considered that when posting this response, but I was more interested in pointing out the difference between a rifle sight and a target. I apologize for the mistake.
*sigh* I’m sorry I missed this response until now. Actually, I have fired quite a few guns at the local firing range, as well as my rifle, an M1 .30 Carbine. You look THROUGH a sight in order to SEE the target. They aren’t the same thing. You can toss a pie, a kitten, a tea bag - whatever you want at a target. A rifle sight is for one thing, and that is locking in on a target to shoot at.
