“Made and appearance” on The Electric Company???? That’s like saying Courtney Cox “made an appearance” on Friends. Morgan Freeman was a regular cast member for the run of the show, playing the character of Easy Reader and dozens of others. For those of us who were kids in the 70s, it’s still how we remember him best.
