To Everyone Wondering Why I Didn't Include Cristiano Ronaldo On My List Of Sexiest World Cup Players

I recently created a list of 18 sexiest soccer players to look out for during the World Cup. There were a few "ugh, why is HE on there" responses. But the one question that I have gotten the most?

"WHY IS RONALDO NOT ON THIS LIST?!"

I left him out on purpose. (Please don't be angry.) Now, I will kindly provide an explanation.

Pretty much everybody already knows that Ronaldo is one of the hottest players out there.

Before I made my list, I consulted many other lists. And our man was on every single one of them.

But my post was more of a "here's some really attractive players that you probably don't know of (or you probably never noticed were attractive)" list.

I would have included Ronaldo only because I felt obligated to do so. I didn't want people to look at the list and think, "Well, of course Ronaldo is on there, so predictable. This list is boring."

I wanted people to think "Wow! How have I never seen this beautiful man before?!" and "Whoa, I always thought Casillas was a great goalkeeper, but I never noticed how rugged and manly he looks!"

I even thought I could do some persuading: "Messi?! He does look like a perpetually confused goober...but I guess seeing him in this context has made me attracted to him."

So, I hope this clears things up a bit.
