It's hardly the first time the bookmaker has courted controversy with its marketing.

Only a couple of months ago an advert featuring a team of players wearing Middle Eastern robes caused a real stir.
And last year an advert offering “money back if he walks” for punters betting on the outcome of the Oscar Pistorius murder trial attracted thousands of complaints.
Paddy Power told BuzzFeed News: "It’s clearly an acerbic reference to recent police activity in the US. And obviously, no offence was meant.”
