Six HSBC bankers have been fired after staging a mock ISIS execution video and posting it online.
In the video, the men – all of whom are wearing balaclavas – brandish a coathanger as a pretend knife, while an Asian co-worker kneels in front of them in an orange jump suit. The men chant "Allahu Akbar" – "God is Great".
HSBC has confirmed that the men have been sacked.
The Sun, which acquired the video after it was posted to Instagram, reported that the men were on a team-building day out at Teamworks Karting track in Birmingham.
The colleague who was to be "executed" was named by the paper as Saf Ahmed. The paper claimed the men were from the bank's Birmingham-based legal team. The seven-second video can be viewed on The Sun's website.
