Everyone's Annoyed With Kanye West For Telling A Kid In A Wheelchair To "Stand Up" At A Concert

But it didn't happen the way some people think it did.

So this story broke overnight.

And there's a whole lot of anger about it.

It's true, but it didn't quite go down the way some people are claiming.

As you can see from the below video, Kanye (playing in the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney, Australia), tells the crowd: "I can't do this song. I can't do this show until everybody stand up [...] Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and shit."

Everyone stands up, then Kanye sees two guys not standing.

One of them allegedly waves his prosthetic leg at him, and Kanye says she can sit.

While waiting for the other person, Kanye said, "This is the longest I've had to wait to do a song. It's unbelievable." Which does seem kind of unfortunate.

He immediately says: "Now if he's in a wheelchair then it's fine."

Kanye's bodyguard confirms it's the case, and back to what looks like a rocking gig we go.

Some people feel it was just fun crowd patter, others see it differently.

You decide.
