Plants Apparently Keep Sprouting In People's Plugholes Because Of This Lush Massage Bar

This is kind of cool. Or maybe the start of an alien invasion.

A bunch of people keep finding plants down their plugholes after the seeds from Lush's Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar have fallen down them.

Note: It's not soap, as a couple of people seem to think.

So what's going on here? Well, it appears the massage bar contains aduki beans, which are popular in Asian cooking. The plants apparently grow 18–25 cm tall in the end.

one of the coffee beans from my Lush massage bar fell into the sink and a PLANT GREW FROM IT

Either that or this is the start of an alien plant invasion.

PSA: When using a lush bar with beans in it, and you don't use that shower for a week this is what happens

Helen Ambrosen, Lush co-founder and product inventor, told BuzzFeed: "We use organic aduki beans to create a texture in the massage bar, so that you've got small bead like shapes to massage the muscles. In order for the beans to germinate they must have been left in the shower for a few days. The results you get just go to show how fresh the ingredients really are."
