New York's finest vagabonds convened in Tompkins Square Park yesterday for a battle of strength and desperation heretofore unseen in the East Village. Unfortunately, they had to cancel the Fax Machine Toss at the last minute, so it ended up being a bunch of old people wandering around blindfolded while schoolchildren watched. Poetic, at least.
