The Other Jon Favreau
Obama's speechwriter is 27 years old and will be the youngest Chief Speechwriter in White House history. posted Favreau has been working with Obama for four years, but he's getting a lot of pre-Inauguration attention as he works on the Most Important Speech Ever (he also had an unfortunate run-in with Facebook recently). He's basically the real-life Sam Seaborn and is vying with Reggie Love for the title of D.C.'s Most Eligible Bachelor.

You probably know … James Fallows has posted on his wikipedia entry that he was actually two months younger than Jon when HE began writing for Jimmy Carter in the first two years of that presidency. Hence HE is the youngest speech writer ever. Octagon. Bring it on.
