Brazilian subways have installed “priority seating for obese people,” with helpful color-coding. Weird, I thought everyone in Brazil looked like Gisele.
Obesity is a severe problem on the rise that we need to start dealing with. And it’s not by providing products that make being overweight easier.

Officials are saying that passengers are too ashamed to utilize the specialty seating, which displays a “Priority chair for obese people” sign and an illustration of a fat person that looks similar to the universally recognized handicap sign.
Everyone is Brazil DOES look like Gisele. They made these for Americans.
They could have just installed a bench instead, but I guess the embarrassment of having to use the “fat seat” is an incentive to drop weight?
