Is there, like, an exponential superlative for “totally kick-ass”? 'Cause seriously, the PS22 Chorus kids OWN it if there is one, and when applied to them it would have to be the only non-foreign word in the English language that must be written in italics. I got chills watching 'em do this one, just like the first one, and Amanda was not lying when she said the soloist is fantastic. Needless to say, this made my day, and most likely my week. Thanks tons for posting it, Amanda! Now—when's the tour gonna be? I don't care about expensive production and sets and costumes—I wouldn't shell out ten bucks for front-row seats to most concerts. But I'd sure as hell pay good money for the chance to see these kids and their teacher do their thing live. Because they so obviously love doing this, and are so good at it, watching them makes me happy—and it's happiness in a pure, simple form with no ironic twists or cheesiness. How often does anyone at all come across something that does that these days?
