Thats really really tragic. I hope Sea World do sell out to PETA so this will never happen again.

it is a tragedy this Lady was taken from life this way. But she wouldn’t want the whale or Sea World punished. The way she lived her life testifies to that. If we are gona outlaw these sorts of things we should start with the way we run or streets and highways, there’s like 40 thousand killed out there every year, and i don’t see much sympathy in that regard.

Surprising? No. Still tragic? Yes.

Killer is right in the name. Honestly, anybody working with one should expect this sort of thing.

Wow. Yet another reason why animals should NOT be held in captivity for our entertainment and enjoyment. Especially big, knowingly dangerous ones. (i.e. SF Zoo tiger, Sigrfried & Roy tiger, Oakland Zoo lion…etc)

If whales are Killer Whales then what are sharks? Cuddly Sharks? im confuzed

this completely justifies my fear for jesse in free willy. the scene where he falls into the tank ALWAYS scares me.  that being said, this is really sad.

Man, if only there were some prior indication that it’s a bad idea to keep killer whales in captivity and force them to perform stupid tricks! We could never have predicted this.
