I think the PTB should take a hard look at Joe's screed because there is a very common sentiment that permeates it. There are a ton of people in the US that feel exactly like Joe, but won't kill themselves to call attention to it. This guy is no tea-bagger. He's an otherwise normal guy that got shafted several times and couldn't take it anymore. Even the most gentle yellow dog will bite you if you hurt him bad enough.

Guess what Mr. Pilot, it's going to cost us tax dollars to repair that building.

Honestly, after reading it, I really don't think this man's a teabagger at all. He's a man that hit a string of bad luck, seemingly, for many years in a row and cracked. But of course nothing in the world could justify trying to light your family on fire and kill innocents.

I'm not sure how, but Sarah Palin is pretty obviously responsible for all this. Or those evil teabaggers. If not them, it's Glenn Beck. My brain can handle no other explanation.

So, let's see. We have at least one person (possibly with an eponymous user handle) who thinks this guy was right wing. We have some who think he was neither. Let's examine the things at which he was angry: George Bush, the Catholic Church, capitalism, the medical system, corporate profits, the rich, insurance and drug companies, GM executives, and the American dream. Tough luck folks, the things this guy hated line up awfully well with things hated by those who are pretty left of center (i.e. business as usual at Buzzfeed).

At least he didn't hit Emo's, that place has some kickass shows.

These people are like addicts who have to blame their problems on someone else. YOU spent 40k on exploiting a tax loophole and it didn't work. YOU misspent your savings and retirement. YOU hired a crack accountant. YOU HAD A MOTHERFUCKING AIRPLANE AND LAST TIME I CHECKED, THAT AIN'T CHEAP. But no, it's all the big, bad governments fault for having taxes. The only good that can come out of this is that we may be going back to the old-fashioned home grown terrorists of the 90's, which might get us out of that endless clusterfuck in the Middle East.
