It's 2009, which means that social networks are important enough to be renounced for Lent. A few people at my Mardi Gras party were planning to give up Facebook, and apparently it's a fairly common idea (if you're into the whole sacrificing stuff for God thing). Just don't give up BuzzFeed. We would miss you.
