“For The Record” Reviews

Britney Spears' much-anticipated documentary debuted last night, kicking off her Comeback 2008 tour. Most people (including myself) seemed to like the special, thanks mostly to the Madonna visit and that awesome quote about “moving through life like a karate kid.” If you haven't heard that one yet, you will: Britney Redux has only just begun.

  • Britney Spears on Good Morning America: I will admit that I was a bit underwhelmed, but maybe it's because “Circus” is not just as solid a song as “I'm A Slave 4 U”

  • Seriously, she is delusional. I couldn't handle much more than maybe 15-20 minutes. Her response about shaving her head, the fact that she believes she is above “the people,” and her “art” which is spoon fed to her from her music to her dance to her products. She didn't even know when her own song was over while recording. Ugh.
