Carol Anne Burger
A 57-year-old woman from Boynton Beach, FL stabbed her lover 222 times with a Phillips-head screwdriver before killing herself. Burger apparently snapped after her breakup with Jessica Kalish, 56, who had met another woman. She had refused to take anti-depressants following the breakup, and she shot herself before police could question her about the crime (and her bizarre weapon choice). Burger was a sometimes contributor to the Huffington Post’s OffTheBus project.
