James Wannerton, from Blackpool has created a map which shows what each tube station tastes like. As president of the UK Synaesthesia Association, Wannerton can taste words when he hears or says them, as Synaesthesia - a neurological condition - links senses.
“I’ve often gone out of my way to travel through places such as Plaistow and Mill Hill East just to see what they taste like in situ and of course to add another to my collection”, he told the Telegraph.
