    Wow. You’re an awful human being (or a troll.) You do realize that servers get paid less than minimum wage? Let that set in… less than minimum wage. The tips are the only thing that actually pays the bills. You don’t know their story, or why they have their job. And by the way, I don’t know if you actually read the story, but in this case tipping WAS a requirement, because it was a party of 20 people, which I’m sure is clearly marked on the menu. You don’t like to tip? Don’t go out to eat.
