10 Acquisitions Made By Marissa Mayer That Tumblr Users Should Look At That She Didn't Ruin Yet

Since Marissa Mayer became CEO of Yahoo! this past July she has been hard at work acquiring social media app's and start-ups to transform the companies image. As David Karp said in his press release earlier today "Marissa and her team share our dream to make the Internet the ultimate creative campus." Marissa and her team have already started on this dream by acquiring 10 of the following companies, to help Yahoo transform away from the smiley based and consumed with ads website of the past that Tumblr users are so afraid of. She understands the visual and mobile based canvas that the Internet is transforming into and bringing Yahoo into that platform and market. Since joining Yahoo! the stock has been up almost 70%.
