I've never been a huge fan of Obama (especially after during one of the debates he said that he believed that marriage is only between one man and one woman, after previously trying portray himself as being pro-equality, among many other things…) He's been far too much of a centrist for my taste. But if he can keep taking strong stances like this and not cave in to conservative (i.e. tea party) pressures, then there is a chance he will get my vote next year.
