G.O.P. Candidates Reveal Their Favorite Superheroes
9-year-old Ari Garnick of Manchester, New Hampshire, asked Republicans on the campaign trail, “If you could be any superhero in the world, who would you be and why?” Most of the candidates saw this as an awesome opportunity to beat their chests with patriotism — unfortunately, they all picked the one alien immigrant who earlier this year renounced his U.S. citizenship. Seriously, these guys need to read more comics.

Joe D! a year agoDC Comics rebooted their universe in September, so now Superman no longer renounced his US citizenship (which is actually old news since he became a “citizen of the world” a few years ago). Now he’s just fighting unjust slumlords on behalf of the working poor. Still not good news for the G.O.P. but let’s not be inaccurate on the the internet, we wouldn’t want that would we?
