Golden Dawn, North Side. Picture shows Ralph Naples, co-owner in classic white shirt-black tie look that the bartenders are famous for.

Schooners (the frosted goblet pictured) of Genesee are only $1. And its the only beer on draft.

The Dawn is known for their delicious pizza, breakfasts, and jumbo burgers.

2. Flannel Farms

Flannel Farms is turning vacant land into productive mini-farms. Started by Alex Lipinsky, the flagship location on Ridge Avenue in the Oak Hill Neighborhood will be a U-pick farm and outdoor picnic cafe.

3. Dubic Palm Cafe

This might be the most hidden, delicious food in all of Youngstown. Every Saturday morning, a quite little bar becomes the go to place in the city for spit roasted meat.

The menu in whole or half chickens, which are the first off the fire. Pork and ham can be purchased by the half and whole pound.

Around 1pm the lamb comes off the spit, which people have numbers for first cuts. Its good to get there a few hours early to get a good number.

Side dishes: a table of all you can eat white bread, onions, tomatoes, and peppercinis make the most perfect compliments to the fresh cooked, well seasoned meat.

4. Ironman Warehouse

Located in Downtown Youngstown, Ironman Warehouse is an out of the box gym that has just about everything you need to get in the best possible shape.

From flipping tires, throwing stones, kettlebells, to traditional weightlifting methods, you can find it at Ironman Warehouse.

5. The Royal Oaks

Found on Oak Street, on the East Side of Youngstown, The Royal Oaks is a quirky little bar with some of the best ribs.

Every Tuesday, the Oaks smokes ribs in house and coats with their famous Raspberry BBQ sauce. Its incredible.

6. Hollywood Goes Youngstown

7. B&O Night Market

The B&O Night Market is the most diverse Farmer's Market and craft/antique market in the area.

Every Thursday night in Spring/Summer/Fall vendors set up outside the B&O Station to sell, with drinks at the Boxcar Lounge. It is the best place to find handmade items, fresh produce, baked goods, and other foods!

8. Rust Belt Theater Company
