He was a fixture @ Howie's on Castaic Rd—also clubhouse for the WORLD RENOWNED MRAfia Records, including: Smile Empty Soul, Poet Warrior, Troll Forcefield, Johnny Bluegrass & the Coon Hounds!
After becoming mutual fans, g.mak was given a MAJOR assist by CO-D, when their improvisational jam band Whatever was born. [Editor's note: CO-D HATED that name] With a guy named Smokey, they made musical magic on jam nights, where g.mak begged CO-D to produce his solo record.
After the embarrassment wore him down CO-D agreed to produce—thus starting the juggernaut that would become 91384—recognize bitches! Representing for the 661 . . . .
They never did a Gary solo album—4 solo songs in, g.mak convinced CO-D 2 really Partner on the whole record. The result was their debut 91384 release, 'Game On!'. It produced the local hitz, 'Cindel' and the monster local joint: 'Castaic [We got the Lake].
Diversity and irony soak the 91384 state of mind. 'We're more than just a zip or area code,' g.mak insists. I'm AARP and CO-D is total ALT rebel, hip hop DJ, master Producer / video auteur! WE BRING IT!'
Now, upon the release of 'Can't Stop the Beat', all the influences CO-D picked up on International / US tours with Jennifer Hudson and BTR have expanded the sonic and lyrical palette. It ain't just all about da lake!
g.mak is also seeking certification as the oldest active white rapper, through the Guinness Book of World Records. The band is actively seeking a booking on either Jimmy Late Night Show, Kimmel or Fallon. Bidding war, anyone?

Hey Hope. I hope your feeling better today for work. I'm thinking of you a lot. I recorded vocals at Gary's its sounding really good. Going to finish up today. Thinking of you when I'm engineering. He has a nice Rodes mic and a DBX mic pre. Its a good combo. Just wanted to tell you I learned a lot doing "search the canyons" That mix is kinda fucked, but has some good stuff to it as well.
