Many (ignorant) people have no idea how much schooling, time, money physicians and surgeons have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice to continue practicing. Add to the hundreds of thousands a year doctors have to shell out for malpractice insurance just to protect their asses every day from scheming low-lifers trying to find a quick buck from a ridiculous lawsuit.  So many are quick to assume that doctors don’t deserve the money they earn. Doctors, surgeons especially, dedicate their entire lives to their practice. They are not earning the “big bucks” until they reach 35 or 40. By then, they haven’t had time to marry/have a family. If they do have a family, much of their time is spent away from them. The great doctors are the ones who live for healing and saving other’s lives. They are not doctors because they earn a great pay; they study, pay and sacrifice so that the sick can have a second chance. Many of the doctors I know spend half of that time on charity cases. The doctors are paying money out of their pockets to help the less fortunate. So the next time you think about writing asinine, ignorant posts about things you don’t know about. Research. Don’t just read a couple people’s biased opinions on Buzzfeed. Educated yourself. Maybe even try Google every now and then.

We are, nreid. The opinions given in this article are great and all. But what about the opinions of the other 95% of medical professionals? Most of my family and friends are medical professionals. Many, if not all, oppose the opinions of those given in this post. Whether Buzzfeed/the Media has a leftist or right winged agenda, I would like to see both sides shared. There are both pros and cons to this.

I’m guessing she grew up in the 40s and 50s…Maybe I’m just assuming and stereotyping, but she appears to be someone who definitely was raised in an era when women were encouraged to “support” their men (or just men in general) regardless of any sick or twisted shit they did. It blows my mind how so many people have managed to dismiss JoPa’s and other school officials’ blatant negligence. How could anyone with a heart try to cover up Sandusky’s disgusting actions?
