Beyoncé Has The Prettiest Dancer’s Feet Of All

AdventureNeckbeard a year agoDon’t contradict yourselves by saying she doesnt “dance” or isn’t a “professional dancer”. You could call a stripper a professional dancer if that’s the case. There’s several types of dance styles and several types of professional dancing. You may hate Beyoncé, but don’t be an ignorant human being. Beyoncé has her own style and then there’s the style of ballet, harder on the feet — toes to be more specific, more precise, more strict in movement, either way they all have a toll on the body differently and most can take care of it better than others, why? Cause money.

Dariana a year agoYour first two sentences are a contradiction by suggesting we are in error by not calling Beyonce a ‘professional dancer’, and then continuing by noting strippers would be dancers ‘if that were the case’. No, strippers would be dancers, too, if we DID call what Beyonce does ‘professional dancing’. We are attempting to be exclusive in the definition, not inclusive. Moreover, I don’t consider her a professional dancer because the job title alone suggests one DANCES for a profession. It’s not the type of dance involved so much as dance is secondary—maybe even tertiary—to Beyonce’s primary performance goals. And, of course, I find most people here aren’t angry about the condition of Beyonce’s feet, or even Beyonce as a dancer, but rather Shift’s insulting treatment of people who do things like classical ballet (insinuating they have ‘ugly feet’). I did pointe for eight years on a daily basis. If you got pedicures, it would remove the callouses that help you do your job. So yes, there is a distinct difference not only between the types of dancing, but the type of foot treatment involved—excluding the simple ‘money’ answer.
