On Friday the 13th a large electrical storm rolled its way through the Puget Sound area in Washington State.
Swarming is the natural means of reproduction of honey bee colonies. A new honey bee colony is formed when the queen bee leaves the colony with a large group of worker bees, a process called swarming. Swarming is mainly a spring phenomenon, usually within a two or three week period depending on the locale, but occasional swarms can happen throughout the producing season.

A hummingbird flew in the house while I was working. I had to capture it and set it free. Hummingbirds play dead when they feel threatened so they are fairly easy to catch.

I was out for a walk and this bear comes meandering down the road. It didn’t see me standing there for quite some time. The wind was blowing towards me so it also didn’t smell me.
I was filming some deer eating along side our garden, when this one deer stuck his head through the fence to nibble on the rosebush. When he pulled his head back out he got caught in the fence. After a bit of a tumble and a little shaken up, he seems to be fine.
